As summer arrives, many of our members and instructors are taking some well-earned holidays and spending more time with family. To reflect this, we'll be operating a reduced class timetable throughout the summer.
From 24th July to 28th August, our classes will run on a shortened schedule. This helps us continue offering high-quality training while accommodating the seasonal changes in attendance.
### What This Means
* Both Cheslyn Hay and Gentleshaw classes will be reduced to one hour sessions (19:00 - 20:00).
* Advanced students (4th Kyu +) will therefore be training alongside our beginners.
* Regular timetables will resume from 4th September.
* Sunday sparring will continue as usual.
Even with shorter sessions, there's still plenty of opportunity to keep your skills sharp. Summer is a great time to focus on refining techniques, improving fitness, and working towards your next grading.
We encourage everyone who is staying local to attend as many classes as possible and keep up their training. Consistency is one of the most important parts of martial arts, and every session helps build confidence, discipline, and progress.
If you're heading away on holiday, we hope you have a fantastic break. We look forward to welcoming you back to the dojo when you return.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We wish all our members and their families a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing summer.
See you in class!
