Dawn is the perfect example of a parent who sat watching her kids do karate for years and was finally convinced to give it a go.  Starting as an original member of the ladies only class in 2009 (no spectators or jiggling allowed), she progressed to join the main stream classes.

As well as training on a regular basis, Dawn, as Club Secretary, undertakes the admin and treasury roles at the club. She has organised the attendance of the CWK Squad to numerous competitions, sometimes taking up the role of coach, too. In more recent years she has become part of the EWKR Organising Committee, assisting with admin roles of the Squad, and has supported students at competitions across Europe.
