Mitchell Bradley
Senior Instructor - 3rd Dan
Mitchell joined Chase Wado Kai Karate Club at the age of six. Over a decade later, he is 3rd Dan Black Belt, trains in both Kata and Kumite and competes throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
In 2015, he was selected for the first time to represent England at both International and European level competitions in Luxembourg where he gained gold medal in Kumite, thus receiving the title of European Champion in his first competition at this level and providing EWKR with its first gold European medal in 43 years. Mitchell went on to represented England at the Europeans in Zurich in 2016, obtaining silver medal in Male Team Kata / Bunkai and bronze in Kumite, Portugal in 2018 where he again won gold, becoming European Champion in Kata and Hungary in 2019 gaining bronze in Kata. This has made Mitchell the only person in EWKR’s history to be crowned European Champion in both Kata and Kumite.
Mitchell was the youngest member of Chase Wado Kai to be awarded its Overall Student of the Year at just 10 years old. At the age of 15, Mitchell’s karate endeavours were recognised by his local parish council who awarded him the accolade of Young Person of the Year.
Mitchell is a true ambassador for the club and is an excellent role model for younger and more mature students alike.
